“Love So Amazing, So Divine, Demands My Soul, My Life, My All” Galatians 6:14. These words, in addition to the scripture, “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world” are printed in a beautiful, yet simple design.
The hymn, “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross” composed in 1707 by Isaac Watts (words) and Lowell Mason (music), is one of the first English hymns to focus on the personal spiritual life of the individual. While it was groundbreaking at the time, today it is a moving, challenging, and familiar hymn. Watts wrote other hymns, but he is remembered for this classic.
